Pryde of the Arcade!

Hello Gamers!

Today’s Game of the Day is the X-Men arcade game released by Konami in 1992. Depending on the arcade machine the game was for 2 or up to 6 players. Players would control the mutants Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler and Dazzler. The plot of the game was a beat-em up with the goal of saving Professor X and Kitty Pryde from Magneto.

I loved playing this game growing up and I still love it now. Its probably one of the best arcade games out there and also one of the best superhero games too. One of the best things of the game was the bad translation of the game and being everyone except for Dazzler. If you were the last person to join the game you would probably get stuck with Dazzler no one's favorite X-Men. So with great sounds, game play, and replaybilty I give this game 8 Uncannys out of 10.

Special Delivery!

Hello Gamers!

I hope you all enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving I sure did. Today's Game of the Day is Paperboy realased on the NES in 1988. This game had you play the role of a paperboy as you would go though your route during a week and trying to get a high score, avoding obsticules, and gaining new subscribers. This was ported to many diffrent consules but the one that I played was for the NES.

Growing up playing this game was hard yet it was super fun. I don't think I ever got past Tuesday and have still yet to not get hurt in some certain way that I would allways crash on a level. with a great soundtrack replayability, and hours of gameplay I give this game 6 newspapers out of 10.

Earing your wings.

Hello Gamers!

Today's Game of the Day is Pilotwings orginaly released on the SNES on Augest 13 1991. Diffrent from meny games of the time Pilotwings's gameplay centered around you going thought flight school preforming diffrent activites to try and pass and move on to the next class level. The game also included meny bouns stages as well and even an expert mode after playing though the game the first time.

This has to be one of my top 10 favorite SNES games that played growing up as a kid and a lot of fond memories from playing it. One of my favorite things about the game was the many challenges you played in the game my favorite one being skydiving. The other activates were jet-packing, hang-gliding, flying a biplane, and flaying freely with bird-wings. The final stage of both modes was a rescue helicopter mission. This game is a great in general and I highly suggest you check it out. I give give this game 10 penguins out of 10.

A Sequel thats a Prequel?

Hello Gamers!

Today's Game of the Day is Lufia II:Rise of the Sinistrals which is an RPG released on the SNES in Auguest 31 1996.

Like most RPG's of the SNES era this was a very good game! The story was the main force behind in how it told of the hero for the first game tale of their father so you get to see what happen prior to the events in the first game. We owned and played this game before we knew the first game even existed so it was pretty interesting to see me and my brother's reaction when we found out this game was a prequel. All in all this game has great longevity, a great story, and many plot twists you get from a RPG. I give this game 7 swords out of 10.

Battle of the Beasts!

Hello Gamers!

Today's Game of the Day is Primal Rage realeased in arcades in 1994 by Atari games. In this game you chose form a varity of charters as you fight each outer as dinosaurs adn apes in a fighting game style.

Playing this game is wicked fun. Fighting against one another as an ape or Dinosaur was really fun and the added aspect of blood made it more enjoyable. There is not much to say more more about this game except that it ported to a lot of consoles and that it did not have any sequels. This game gets 8 eaten worshipers out of 10.
